Visit Oxford was lucky enough to sit down with the Debutante Farmer, Elizabeth Heiskell, as she shared with us some of her signature gameday dishes. Nobody does gameday quite like we do here in Oxford. These savory dishes can bring your tailgating game up a notch, and give you some real Oxford style.

Here is Elizabeth showing you how to whip up her absolutely delicious Pimento Cheese.

Pimento Cheese

Ingredients

2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded (buy the block and shred it yourself. It makes a huge difference.)

1 cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, no substitution

½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

6 ounces roasted red peppers, diced

¼ cup chopped pecans

¼ cup green onions

¼ tsp Tabasco

¼ tsp Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning

¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce 

Method

Mix all ingredients together.
